Oscar Insights is a weekly podcast hosted by Texas Art & Film, created by film critic Dustin Chase (Texas Art & Film) in which he and other critics Mark Schumann (The Reel Dad) and Travis Leamons (Inside Pulse) follow, debate and predict the Oscar and all film awards events throughout the year.

The Houston Museum of Fine Arts film and video curator Marian Luntz asked the crew to do what we do on a weekly basis live for a group of film buffs and enthusiasts to learn more about The Oscars and help those serious in predicting the winners learn some “insights” from the experts who follow the races.

Introduced by Mrs. Luntz, we took each category one by one giving our predictions and fielding questions from the audience about various topics from who are the Golden Globe voters to why did War Horse look like that? With our very different opinions and backgrounds it was a wonderfully fun night of movie talk .
